1.1 Account Information
When you purchase a Pro or Ultimate license, Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor) collects your name, email address, and payment details. We receive your name, email, and license key — we do not store or have access to your credit card information.
1.2 Usage Data
When you use Pro or Ultimate features, our API server logs:
- The URL of the page being analyzed (to provide analysis results)
- Number of API calls per day (to enforce usage limits)
- Token usage for AI features (for cost tracking)
- Timestamps and response times (for performance monitoring)
1.3 Page Content
When you click "Analyze", the extension reads the current webpage's HTML content locally in your browser to perform SEO checks. This data is processed entirely on your device for free-tier features. For AI-powered features (Pro/Ultimate), page metadata (title, meta description, headings, URLs) is sent to our server, which forwards it to our AI provider to generate suggestions.
1.4 Local Storage
The extension stores the following locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:
- Your license key (encrypted in Chrome's sync storage)
- Scan history (Pro/Ultimate only, stored locally)
- Theme preference and settings
- Company name and logo for PDF branding
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve our SEO analysis services
- To validate your license and manage your subscription
- To enforce daily usage limits
- To generate AI-powered SEO recommendations
- To send transactional emails (receipts, license keys)
- To monitor and improve service performance
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:
- Lemon Squeezy — processes payments and manages subscriptions
- Anthropic — our AI provider receives page metadata to generate SEO suggestions (no personally identifiable information is sent)
- Google PageSpeed Insights API — receives the URL you analyze to provide speed metrics (this is a public Google service)
- Legal compliance — if required by law or to protect our rights
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- All API communication is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
- API keys are stored server-side, never in the extension
- License validation uses secure token-based authentication
- Database access is restricted and monitored
5. Data Retention
- API logs — retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted
- Account data — retained while your subscription is active, deleted within 30 days of account closure
- Local scan history — stored on your device, you can clear it anytime via Settings
